Fans choice: 2018/19 Welsh Football League Division One ‘Team of the Season’

After a two-week process which saw over 10,000 readers cast their votes, we can now reveal the Welsh Football League Division One ‘Team of the Season’, as voted by you, the supporters.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the team is made up largely of players from the league’s top two sides in 2018/19: Penybont and Cambrian and Clydach.

Rhys Griffiths’ side secured promotion to the Welsh Premier League for next season, topping the table with 80 points after winning 25 and drawing five of their 30 league games.

Dane Williams’ ‘Cam’ had an impressive season, finishing as runners-up with 60 points, along with their memorable run to the Nathaniel MG Cup final.

Port Talbot Town’s Keane Watts and Pontypridd Town marksman Luke Gullick make the XI, which includes six players from Penybont, and three from Cambrian and Clydach.
