Connah’s Quay look set to lose Priestley Farquharson with the defender set to sign a deal with Belgian outfit KV Oostende, according to reports.
Farquharson’s departure from the club will bring to an end a 17-month spell at the club, where the 23-year-old had lifted a Cymru Premier and Nathaniel MG Cup double.
A report from HLN.Be says that the move could be announced as early as today with the former England beach international set to sign his contract.
It adds that Farquharson was identified as a target for Oostende because of a data-orientated approach by their American owners.
He is moving to a side which finished 15th in the Belgian Pro League last season, two points off of bottom spot.
Farquharson made a total 35 appearances for the Nomads after joining from Hayes and Leading United in January 2019 with three of those outings coming in the Europa League.
