Cardiff City Stadium could play host to Barry Town United’s Europa League qualifier.
Barry have announced that the Welsh national team’s stadium has been chosen as their designated home venue.
The Vale of Glamorgan side are the second club in as many days to announce the news after Connah’s Quay revealed they had agreed to a deal to play at Cardiff City’s home ground.
In a change to the qualifying format for the Europa League, qualifiers will be played on a one-legged basis.
Which team will host the qualifier will be decided on the luck of the draw with the first team drawn out given the advantage.
Gavin Chesterfield’s side will find out their opponents on August 9 before an 11-day turnaround, where they play on August 20.
Any fixture should Barry be drawn home or away will be played behind-closed-doors after a UEFA ruling.
Barry hope to broadcast their fixture should they be at home on an online stream or television.
