The New Saints and Bala Town discovered their 2020/21 Europa League qualifying opponents this afternoon.
Colin Caton’s men will travel to Malta to play Valletta while the Saints have a home tie against Slovakian outfit MŠK Žilina.
The one-legged ties will take place on 27 August.Scott Ruscoe’s side are competing in Europe’s second-tier club competition for the first time since the 2011-12 season.
Commenting on the draw, Saints boss Scott Ruscoe said: “I’m really pleased with the tie being at home.
“We will now prepare for the opposition – who must be respected – and have certainly got good pedigree in European competition. We are all looking forward to the test.”
Barry Town United, also included in the First Qualifying Round draw, discovered their opponents.
Should they defeat NSÍ Runavík of the Faroe Islands, they will travel to Pittodrie to face Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.(Featured Image: Lewis Mitchell)
