Cardiff City and Swansea City are involved in a transfer tug-of-war for the loan of Wales star Harry Wilson.
Wilson, 23, is on the search for first-team football after a £15m move to Burnley failed to materialise.
Wrexham-born Wilson’s future looks set to be away from Anfield and a host of clubs want to utilise his services for the season.
The Sun claim Swansea are leading the race to sign Wilson on a season-long loan.
Reds bosses were happy with how Rhian Brewster’s loan spell went at the Liberty Stadium and believe they could have the same impact with Wilson.
However, South Wales rivals Cardiff City, as well as Derby County, Norwich City and Nottingham Forest, are also interested.
Wilson featured in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup exit to Arsenal, missing the decisive spot-kick.
Last season, he made 31 appearances in the Premier League for AFC Bournemouth, scoring seven goals.
Before that, he played for Derby County and Hull City.
