Colwyn Bay have added Cai Owen and Ilan Hughes to their squad for the upcoming Cymru North season.
Owen returns to the Seagulls after departing them for Caernarfon Town last year, meanwhile Hughes is joining also from a Cymru Premier side.
Commenting on his return, manager Craig Hogg said: “Cai is well known to Bay fans and I’m pleased he is returning home.
“He is a very good player and one who I felt really improved us when he joined the club during the last January window.
“He is hungry and eager to develop his game further and is a coach’s dream to work with.
“Cai has a big future in the game, if he continues to apply himself as he has done, and I’m certain he will do that back here at the Bay.”
Also joining Bay is Ilan Hughes, the former captain of Ruthin Town, who is joining from Cymru Premier outfit Aberystwyth Town.
He made the move to Aberystwyth in January 2020, however first-team opportunities have come at the minimum.
The 27-year-old made just two appearances for Aber this season, playing just 102 minutes of competitive football.
“Ilan is a forward-thinking midfield player and was excellent for Ruthin in seasons gone by,” said the Colwyn Bay boss.
“As a result of his performances for them, he secured the move to Aberystwyth. He has been a player of interest to us for some time and he will add a great deal to us.
“I am pleased and excited to now have the opportunity to work with him.”
