Wales international Ben Woodburn has returned to Liverpool following the end of his loan at Blackpool.
The 21-year-old has returned to the Reds having made 11 appearances for the Tangerines, however only four were starts.
Woodburn didn’t complete a full-game during his time at Bloomfield Road and his time was hampered, due to injury and having to isolate having tested positive for COVID-19.
Liverpool are now considering allowing him to leave again according to the Liverpool Echo as he searches for regular first-team football.
His other spells away from Anfield have been of a similar fate, with his next move now crucial to the development of his career.
During his time at Sheffield United, his season-long loan was cut short due to injury and a lack of playing time.
He also saw limited opportunities at Oxford United, having suffered a fractured foot, which saw him sidelined for a remainder of last season.
His lack of action at club level has affected his international career. Woodburn’s last appearance for the senior team was against Trinidad & Tobago in March 2019.
