Bala Town continue to strengthen their ranks ahead of their upcoming Europa Conference League campaign with the additions of Calum Woods and Daniel Walker-Rice.
Walker-Rice and Woods join former Wales and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder David Edwards at Maes Tegid ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Woods 34, and a former Preston North End and Huddersfield Town defender, joins the Lakesiders as a free agent after a short spell last season at FC United of Manchester.
A fullback by trade, Woods has a wealth of experience with 340 appearances in the English and Scottish Football Leagues. Beginning his career in the Liverpool youth academy he signed for Dunfermline Athletic in 2006 where he spent five years playing the Scottish Premiership and in the First Division.
A three-year stint at Huddersfield Town came next followed by five years at Preston North End playing in the Championship after winning promotion from League One at Wembley.
Woods has also represented Bradford City and Tranmere Rovers before signing for FC United prior to the Covid outbreak.

The 20-year-old centre-forward joined the Prenton Park side aged seven and signed a professional contract with the club back in 2019.
Walker-Rice made his first-team debut in a National League against Solihull Moors in April 2018, being deployed from the bench for the final five minutes of the contest. He also featured in EFL Trophy matches versus Salford City, Manchester United U21’s, and Leicester City U21’s. He made one appearance in League Two last season.
The pair could make their competitive debuts in next month’s Conference League fixtures. The Lakesiders have been drawn against NIFL Premiership winners Larne.
As well as two incomings for Bala, the Gwynedd club have seen Henry Jones depart for Haverfordwest County and Andy Burns leave for Stafford Rangers.
