Cardiff Draconians vs AFC Llwdycoed postponed at last minute

Cardiff Draconians welcome AFC Llwydcoed to Lydstep Park for an Ardal Southern West fixture this afternoon.

For Llwydcoed it will be a tough task as they find themselves in 15th place.

The previous meeting between the sides saw Dracs come away with a 2-0 win. Bradley Stubbs with the opening goal in the first half. Matthew Hibbs adding a second in the second half to give Drac’s a comfortable win.

Cardiff Drac’s have hit a rich vein of form winning their last five games. They have been in goalscoring mode as well hitting 15 goals across these games. This included a late win against promotion rivals Pontardawe.

Their last match saw them beat Ynyshir Albions 3-1. After failing behind to a Liam Eason goal, Drac’s levelled thanks to a penalty from top scorer Liam Williams. Joseph Morelli added a second before a late goal Luke Cox wrapped up the win.

AFC Llwydcoed have two wins and four defeats from their last six games. Llwydcoed find themselves at the wrong end of the table but a win could move them up to 12th. This would need several results to go in their favour.

Their last match saw them win against AFC Porth 1-0. Ricky Carter’s fourth minute goal giving them a valuable three points.

Dracs will be looking at this game as a good opportunity to take another three points and increase their grip on the top spot. AFC Llwydcoed will be desperate to take points as they look to move away from the bottom of the table.
