Llanelli Town have been busy in the transfer market and have recruited four players for the 2022/23 Cymru South season.
“Welcome on board James Parry, Sean Pemberton, Adam Robbins, and Eli Phillips,” tweeted John upon their arrival.
Manager Lee John has reunited with two members of his old Goytre United to sign Adam Robbins and James Parry.
Both players departed when John left for Stebonheath Park. Robbins moved to Briton Ferry Llansawel but Parry made the move to English non-league outfit Merthyr Town before making the return to the Welsh system.
Parry isn’t alone in joining from the Martyrs as his teammate from Penydarren Park, Eli Phipps has also made the move.
The 24-year-old forward has played for Barry Town United and Penybont previously, playing 18 times and registering one assist but had a better spell at Merthyr, scoring four times.
Robbins made four appearances after making the move in January but failed to make an appearance after February.
The 26-year-old made 19 Cymru South appearances in total last season and scored one goal.
He also has top-flight experience with Carmarthen Town, playing for the Old Gold in the 2019/20 campaign.
Joining him in defence is experienced veteran defender Sean Pemberton, who moves on from Carmarthen following a short stint.
The 36-year-old made a playing return after leaving Haverfordwest County in January after initially taking caretaker charge of the Bluebirds alongside Jazz Richards.
After the appointment of Nicky Hayen, he resumed his playing career and featured nine times at the end-of-season run-in.
