Briton Ferry Llansawel have made Adam Robbins, Cameron Berry, and McCauley Power their first three signings of the January transfer window.

Robbins joins from league rivals Goytre United whilst Berry has been a free agent since leaving Swansea City.

Defender Robbins made 16 appearances for the Port Talbot side this season but has moved on to a side two points above them in the table.

Attacking player Berry has been without a club but spent last summer on trial with League Two side Swindon Town, as well as in Scotland with Edinburgh City.

Both players were at Carmarthen Town during Kris O’Leary’s brief stint in charge before returning to his role as manager of the Swans U23’s team.

Former Hull City Under-18’s midfielder McCauley Power has also joined as they look to assemble a squad capable of competing at the top of the division.

Power was at Trefelin BGC for the first part of the season and played 13 times this season, scoring once.

In a short social media post, the 19-year-old said: “I can’t wait to get started,” after making the move across the region.

All three signings are in addition to Gavin Jones returning to the club.

The 22-year-old rejoined the club for which he played at a younger age.

Attacking midfielder Jones had hit the back of the net four times this year after making 17 appearances under Andy Legg and then Lee John.

His other former clubs include Ammanford, as well as a stint with Aberystwyth Town last year.

For a team with top-flight ambitions, the Reds are one of eight clubs who have applied for a Tier Once Licence, that would entitle them to play in the Cymru Premier next season.

Andy Hill’s side are four points adrift of the top with 12 games remaining. They could close ground though on the league leaders Pontypridd as they welcome them to Old Road on Saturday

Last week they lost their highly-rated wing-back, Corey Hurford, to Swansea City, who offered him a professional deal.
