Conwy Borough announced the signings of Derek Taylor and Tom Quinn on Friday.

Derek Taylor rejoins the Tangerines after time away from the club where he enjoyed times at Buckley, Cefn Druids, Rhyl and his most recent club Denbigh Town. The signing of Taylor gives Brian Pritchard more attacking options with the forward scoring 14 goals in 46 appearances.

Conwy have also signed Tom Quinn who was released by Welsh Premier League side Bala Town most recently after joining the Lakesiders in the summer. Tom Quinn is a relatively young defender and has played in the Huws Gray Alliance before, spending time on loan with Caernarfon Town.

Speaking to the Conwy Borough website, Pritchard expressed his delight in the signings.

“Tom brings additional experience at the back and Derek has the quality and ability and I know we can provide the platform for him to thrive. Both players, like the whole squad, are determined to get Conwy’s season back on track.”

The two featured in Conwy’s 1-0 defeat to Penryhncoch.
