Goytre FC removed from JD Welsh Cup
Goytre FC have been removed from this season’s JD Welsh Cup competition, it was announced today.
The club, who defeated Llandudno by two goals to nil in the third round, have been found to have fielded an ineligible player during that game.
The ruling comes from the Football Association of Wales, who directly administrate the competition.
Goytre’s exit means Llandudno will now re-enter the competition, facing Bangor City in the fourth round on the weekend commencing 27th January.
