Cambrian & Clydach sign Ton Pentre’s Jacka

Cambrian & Clydach have added to their attacking ranks by signing Leon Jacka from Leon Phillip’s Ton Pentre.

Ton Pentre announced on Saturday afternoon that striker Leon Jacka would be joining divisional rivals Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC.

Last season he won the Player of the Year award from his manager, his team mates and Ton Pentre’s supporters.

Jacka who was pinpointed by Sgorio as Ton Pentre’s one to watch in their televised JD Welsh Cup tie against Bangor City, has scored a total of 10 goals this season, adding to Cambrian & Clydach’s front-line following their recent signings of Ibrahim So Sani and Elijah Chilekwa.

The forward spent a total of three seasons at The Bulldogs, joining from now South Wales Alliance League side Ton & Gelli Boys Club. Jacka left with a parting message, thanking the Bulldogs for his time spent at the club.

Despite Jacka leaving on Saturday afternoon, Ton Pentre won convincingly against Risca United in what was perceived as a relegation clash, following both sides position in the leagues.  Jack’s new side on the other hand were in a thrilling 3-3 home draw with Goytre United.
