LIVE: Bridgend Street begin life in Division Two against Abergavenny Town

Cardiff based side Bridgend Street host Abergavenny Town at Willows High School in their opening league game of the Welsh League season.

The Mission won promotion to Division Two last season after pipping Trefelin Boys & Girls Club to second on goal difference, after going on a 12 game winning run at the end of the season.

Abergavenny begins their third consecutive season in the Welsh League Division Two after 11th and 10th placed finishes in recent years.

Bridgend Street is under new management, with STM Sports Youth boss John Jones replacing Craig Dale, who left due to work commitments.

Abergavenny beat Division Three side Panel in their final pre-season fixture, whilst Bridgend Street hammered South Wales Alliance League side Treforest 6-0.
