Rowlands praised ‘dominant’ Llanuwchllyn for 3-0 win over Lex

Llanuwchllyn manager Rikki Rowlands has lavished the praise on his side following their 3-0 win over Lex XI in the Welsh National League Premier Division.
The hosts secured their second win of the season in emphatic style with a comfortable 3-0 win, with both sides heading into the game knowing a win would be vital considering they’d won just two games combined before the fixture.
But Rowlands has insisted that his side totally deserved the win.
“We were totally dominant and fully deserved the win, we missed chances first half and the game should of been put bed in the first 20 mins, we scored in the first five minutes when Iolo Jones reacted to a loose ball in the box and slotted it home after this we took total control of the game but missed a number of chances.
Second half was very similar and Delwyn Jones score a brace to secure the three points. Lots of positives to take into next week and a number of key players who weren’t available yesterday are back into contention next week which is huge boost!”
Rowlands will want his players to take this form into next week’s game against Rhostyllen with another opportunity for a vital three points to build up some momentum.
Their opponents next week have won just once in ten and Rowlands hopes his players can grow in confidence following this weekend’s win.
“We will train well and look forward to another huge game next Saturday when we entertain Rhostyllen! Every player who made themselves available for this weekends fixture were outstanding and I can’t fault anything! The only thing we need to work on is taking our chances and being more confident in front of goal!”
