Welsh Football League: 2019/20 fixtures announced

The 2019/20 fixtures for the Welsh Football League have been confirmed.

The season will begin on the 9th August in both divisions. Division One is to end on the 3rd April, whilst Division Two ends on the 10th April.

Division One and Division Two were rebranded, following the Football Association of Wales taking control of Tier Two.

Goytre and Ton Pentre were relegated due to league position, whilst Port Talbot Town are in Division One after failing the Tier Two licence.

Abertillery Bluebirds and Ynyshir Albions, have joined the Welsh League after winning their respective feeder leagues.

Kicking off the season, Ton Pentre, playing in the third tier for the first time in eight years, host fellow relegated side Goytre in Division One at Ynys Park.

Penydarren BGC after winning the title last season will host Bridgend Street in their first game in the third tier. 

Trefelin, who were promoted in second host Caldicot Town, who narrowly missed out on promotion last season. Across the town of Port Talbot, Port Talbot face Monmouth Town in their first game in the third tier in 25 years.

Trefelin BGC earn promotion from Welsh Football League division 3 with a 5-1 win over Ynysygerwn at Ynys Park on the 10th May 2019.

Dropping down a division, Trethomas Bluebirds host AFC Porth at CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence on the Friday night. 

Abertillery Bluebirds begin life in the Welsh League against Penrhiwceiber Rangers, whilst fellow newcomers Ynyshir Albions play away at Newport City.

West End, who were relegated last season host Panteg. Aberdare Town who finished bottom last season travel to Pontyclun.
