Wales international duo Charlie Estcourt and Lily Woodham have joined Charlton Athletic on loan.
Estcourt and Woodham join the FA Women’s Championship outfit from from FA WSL side Reading.
The pair made their debut this evening as featured in Charlton’s 6-0 win over Gillingham.
Having signed for the Addicks, Estcourt tweeted: “Buzzing to be a part of this team, can’t wait for the season to start!”
Woodham added: “Buzzing for the season!”
18-year-old Woodham made four appearances for Reading last season, as well as three appearances for Wales in the UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship.
Estcourt, 21, makes her second loan spell away from Reading, having played for Bristol City in 2017. She made nine senior appearances for the Royals last season, registering one assist.
The additions of Estcout and Woodham sees Charlton’s Welsh intake of players rise to five, following the summer additions of Alice Griffiths, Ellie Leek, and Georgia Evans.
