FC Queens Park have been stripped of their Premier Division title win last season after being deducted three points.
Corwen, who were promoted to the Cymru North following a second-placed finish, could now be seen as last season’s Champions.
Queens Park were deducted three points from their league total from last season, which would see them finish second by two points.
The club says that the points deduction relates to fielding an ineligible player, having not received international clearance on a player.
Queens Park released a statement saying: “This is a small blow in the clubs rebuilding efforts but we only ever look forward and no one can take the memories that were achieved from last year. It was a fantastic season and still was.
Brymbo’s third-place finish in 2018/19, now sees them bottom in the history books of the Welsh National League Premier Division.
It’s the second-highest in Welsh history, following a 66-point deduction for Welshpool Town in 1991.
Brymbo maintained their place in the division as FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay withdrew from the league and Hawarden Rangers accepted relegation.
The Welsh National League was asked for comment.
