The Cymru Premier has a predicted finish of 47th in the latest UEFA Coefficient rankings.

Although not confirmed, Kassiesa has calculated that Wales’ current position is 47th, meaning they’ve moved up a place from 48th.

Overall, the four Cymru Premier sides earnt 1.000 points in total, replicating their 2016/2017 and 2018/2019 performances.

TNS claimed a draw and victory against KF Feronikeli, the Nomads earnt an away victory at Kilmarnock, Barry drew with Cliftonville and Cardiff Met beat Progrès Niederkorn in their first European home match.

It could mean that next summer that there will be just one Cymru Premier side in the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Europa League, whilst two would be placed into Round One.

Next summer, a big performance is needed from Welsh clubs in Europe, if they are to retain the fourth European spot.

UEFA Country ranking is determined by the sum of the countries coefficients over the last five years. Wales’ best-ever performance in Europe in recent years was the 2015/2016 performance.

Moving into the 2020/2021 season, it means Wales will lose those points. This would currently see them drop from 47th to 50th, losing 1.500 points.

Wales are teetering closely to losing the spot. They hold a 0.125 gap over the Faroe Islands, Montenegro, and Estonia.

UEFA ruled this summer that countries ranked below 50th will only be allocated two Europa League spots for the 2020/2021 season.
