The draw for Qualifying Round Two of the Welsh Cup took place earlier today, and has thrown up some mouthwatering clashes from the north and south of the country.

The draw – regionalised at this stage – was split into four sections: South West, South East, Central, North West and North East.

A total of 94 teams took part in the draw, knowing that they are just one win away from reaching the first round proper.

The matches will take place on September 28, with the two of the stand-out clashes being a Port Talbot derby between Port Talbot Town and Trefelin BGC, as well as an all-Holyhead tie between Holyhead Hotspur and Holyhead Town.

Cardiff Combinations Premier Division side Fairwater – the lowest ranked team left in the draw – were handed a home tie against Garden Village from the Welsh Football League Division One.
