Rhosllanerchrugog have announced that they have withdrawn from the Welsh National League.
The Wasps’ withdrawal leaves just ten teams in the Welsh National League Division One.
A majority of the players and management staff have moved to bottom side Johnstown YFC.
“It is with sadness and regret that we are to announce that we have resigned from the Welsh National League,” announced Rhosllanerchrugog.
“As our results, this season have shown we have struggled all season long for a settled and competitive side and the decision has been taken to fold our club.
“A majority of our players and management have merged with Johnstown Youth.
“We are delighted with this merger and gives the chance for both sides to put together a really good competitive outfit.
“We thank everyone for there support over the years.”
