Kidwelly Town launch campaign to raise funds for Glangwili Hospital.

Kidwelly Town have set up a fundraiser which will help go towards the fight against the Coronavirus.

Next week the Carmarthenshire League club will take part in a 24 hour ‘Big Garden Run’ organised by the club.

Members of the club will run a relay in their gardens throughout the day.

Having set a target of £1000, the campaign has already beaten its target and raised a further £1130.

Money raised from the campaign will go towards the Glangwili Hospital, based in Carmarthen.

The hospital is managed by the Hywel Dda University Health Board.

Creator of the campaign Gareth Evans said: “We are raising money in aid of League Of Friends Glangwili Hospital and every donation will help fight Covid-19.

“Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to all of us.”

Donations can still be made towards the campaign through their GoFundMe page.
