Prestatyn Town and Swansea University will not be allowed to compete in next season’s JD Cymru Premier.

The two were unsuccessful with their Tier One licensing appeals after the decisions were made by the independent FAW Club Licensing Appeals Body.

Their failure to secure the licence now opens up the possibility of promotion to Flint Town United and Haverfordwest County who have both secured the licence.

Flint Town United’s application was granted after a successful appeal today. They are 16 points behind Prestatyn in the Cymru North standings.

Airbus UK and the Cefn Druids were also granted their licence which allows them to compete in the Cymru Premier.

The Ancients however weren’t included on the list of clubs who possess the Tier One and UEFA Licence which would exclude them from the play-offs.

Newtown have been granted the UEFA Licence which would enable them to compete in the Europa League play-offs should the domestic season resume.
