AFC Tir-y-Berth to fold after end to Taff Ely & Rhymney League
Taff Ely & Rhymney League side AFC Tir-y-Berth has announced it is to fold.
The Hengoed based club is being brought to an end following 14-years of existence.
A statement from the club on social media said: “Now the season is officially over we can announce that AFC Tiryberth will no longer running.
“It’s been a great 14 years and I’d like to thank everyone who as played for the club and all teams for the battles across the years. As one door closes a new one opens.”
They were seventh in the Premier League before the season as curtailed.
