Gareth Thomas: Former Conwy boss named the first manager of CPD Rhyl 1879
CPD Rhyl 1879 have appointed Gareth Thomas as their first team manager.
The 47-year-old is back in senior management after leaving his role as Director of Football at Denbigh Town.
His last role as a manager was in December 2018 where he was in charge of Conwy Borough.
No decision has been made by the FAW on what league Thomas could start his tenure in.
The club however have applied to play in the fourth tier of Welsh football.
“I am really excited about joining CPD Y Rhyl 1879 on the journey to rise through the Welsh leagues,” said Thomas.
“We will be looking to recruit the best North Wales based players we can, to join us in our first season.”
