Kevin Nicholson and Scott Ruscoe listed as candidates for Barrow vacancy
Kevin Nicholson and Scott Ruscoe have been quoted in the betting odds to be Barrow’s new manager.
Barrow are on the search for a new coach to lead them into their 20/21 EFL League Two campaign.
And two Cymru Premier bosses have been linked with taking up the vacancy.
SkyBet have listed Ruscoe at 20/1 to succeed Ian Evatt who left this week to join Bolton Wanderers.
Ruscoe has been chief of The New Saints since 2017, winning two Cymru Premier titles, a Nathaniel MG Cup and a Welsh Cup.
A familiar face to Ruscoe at Barrow is former TNS striker Scott Quigley is on the books of the Bluebirds.
Listed slightly lower on down in the betting odds is former Bangor City manager Kevin Nicholson, who has been placed at 25/1.
Nicholson’s breakthrough season as a manager saw him lead Bangor City to their highest placed finish since their 2010/11 success.
Prior to joining the Citizens, Nicholson was U23s manager for Cardiff City where he worked with a number of current Cymru Premier players.
The front runner for the role is Blackpool’s assistant manager David Dunn, who has been given odds as the 1/8 favourite.
