Monmouth Town and West End to move from current home grounds

Monmouth Town and West End will have to stage their home games away from their current grounds after being admitted to the FAW’s Tier Three Leagues.

The Kingfishers will ground share with Goytre at Plough Road after the two teams were assigned to the South East League.

West End meanwhile will share the Llandarcy Academy of Sport facility with Ynysygerwn.

They will become the third tenants of the facility as it is also used by 2019/20 Welsh Premier Women’s League champions Swansea City Ladies.

Both West End and Ynysygerwn have been placed in the South West League.

Other ground shares at Tier Three in the South include Ynyshir Albions move to AFC Porth’s Dinas Park.

Panteg also announced in May they would be moving to Risca United’s Ty Isaf Park whilst work is done on their home ground at Panteg House.

This doesn’t affect Risca United’s arrangement to play their home games at the Centre of Sporting Excellence, where Trethomas Bluebirds also play.

In North West League, Llanuwchllyn will play at Maes Tegid, the home of Cymru Premier side Bala Town
