West Ham United have shown an interest in signing Swansea City centre-back Joe Rodon.
The Hammers are looking to move on to Rodon after they encountered difficulties in their pursuit of Burnley defender James Tarkowski.
Guardian football reporter Jacob Steinberg says that West Ham are looking at the Wales defender but he will be ‘expensive’.
However, in an alternative report, a West Ham journalist EXWhuemployee claims that Rodon could move to the London Stadium for as little as £12m.
Throughout the summer, the 22-year-old has been linked with moves to both Manchester City and Manchester United, now West Ham United are the latest Premier League club to be linked.
Despite all the speculation surrounding Rondon, Football London have confirmed however that Swansea have yet to receive a bid for the services of their academy product.
Rodon, has played in all of Swansea’s matches this season and has kept two clean sheets in the Championship this season.
In total, the Swansea-born defender has made 50 appearances in the Championship since making his way into the first-team.
He was absent in Wales’ two UEFA Nations League victories earlier this month, instead he played in the Swans’ Carabao Cup defeat to Welsh rivals Newport County.
