Manchester United are considering recalling Dylan Levitt from his loan at Charlton Athletic.

The Welsh midfielder hasn’t featured in the Addicks’ last 11 league matches and two of his five starts have come in Cup competitions.

“It has been tough for him because he has Ben Watson in front of him,” said manager Lee Bowyer to London News Online.

“Ben is an experienced player who has done well for us.

“We will speak to Manchester United and see where they are with it as well. We’ll have to revisit this with Manchester United.”

Further to Bowyer’s comments, Manchester Evening News reports that there is a recall option in Levitt’s season-long loan.

The Red Devils may opt against sending the 20-year-old on loan again, with a starring role for their U23s side looking likely.
