Liverpool have completed the deadline day signing of Welsh midfielder Ceri Holland.
The 23-year-old makes the move to FA Women’s Championship following four years at the University of Kansas.
Holland made 75 consecutive starts for her University side and had various forms of success during her time in the states.
She is a former Wales U19 international and has two caps to her name.
“I’m excited to get here and start with the girls,” said Holland to Liverpool’s official club website.
“It’s just an honour really to be representing such a big club. For them to give me this opportunity is just amazing for me and I’m really excited to get going.
“It’s a good environment to be in and an environment where I think I can add something to it and help the team with results, hopefully. That’s my aim really.
“I just can’t wait to get going now and get on the pitch and start playing football again and represent a great club.”
The Yorkshire-born midfielder will link up with Wales midfielder Rhiannon Roberts at Prenton Park.
