FAW Amateur Trophy: All the fixtures from the 2021/22 Round One draw

The Football Association of Wales today conducted the draw for the 2021/22 FAW Amateur Trophy.

One of the oldest cup competitions in Welsh football makes a welcome return after a one-year break following the coronavirus pandemic.

Ties are to take place on Saturday 17 July, a week after the first qualifying round of the JD Welsh Cup. 

Cefn Albion, who remain the competition’s last winners after the 2019/20 edition was truncated have drawn the newly-formed Ruabon Rovers.

Llandudno Albion and Penydarren, who reached the final but saw their final cancelled have both received byes to the next round.

Cardiff Combinational League outfit Fairwater have drawn former Welsh League side Ely Rangers and will do battle with them at Poplar Park for two consecutive weeks after also being drawn against each other in the Welsh Cup.

Other games of intrigue include lowly Butchers Arms, who hail from Mountain Ash make a trip to Aberaman Park to face Aberdare Town.
