The Football Association of Wales today conducted the second-round draw for the FAW Amateur Trophy.

All ties are to be played on the weekend commencing on August 7 but clubs can rearrange the fixtures to either Friday or Sunday.

Cup holders Cefn Albion, who had a walk-over victory over Ruabon Rovers, will make their way to Chirk Leisure Centre to face Chirk Town.

Five-time winners Cardiff Corries, who last reached the final in 1985, have drawn Cardiff rivals Avenue Hotspur.

Fairwater and Docks Albion, two of the lowest-ranked teams, both of whom play in the Cardiff Combination League, will meet at Poplar Park.

Docks Albion claimed an upset by defeating Sully Sports 2-0 meanwhile Fairwater beat Ely Rangers for a second time in a week after also beating them in the Welsh Cup.

Another upset on Saturday was Butchers Arms defeating historic side Aberdare Town on penalties. The reward for the Aberdare League Premier Division champions defeating their local rivals is a home tie against AFC Porth.

In the North, FC Queens Park shocked Saltney Town Sports to progress. They face a trip to Rhydymwyn for their heroics.

Hakin United – the only representative from the Pembrokeshire League – will travel to Glanaman to test their wits against Ardal Leagues outfit Cwmamman United.
