The Adran Leagues opening fixtures have been announced and there is news of a televised fixture to open the campaign.

Title challenging Cardiff Met will host defending champions Swansea City, who have won the league for the last two seasons, in front of the Sgorio cameras.

The Adran Premier, North, and South will kick off on September 5, with the Archers and Swans playing at 16:15, after the broadcast of Wales’ 2022 World Cup qualifier with Belarus. They will continue to record highlights of one Adran fixture each week.

In the South, Briton Ferry and Cascade, both demoted from the Welsh top flight will battle at Old Road.

Abergavenny, the other team who were ejected, will take on newcomers Swansea University, who will play at this level for the first time in their existence.

Barry Town United, one of two clubs who benefitted from the restructuring, travel to Aberystwyth Town for their first match of the season.

The New Saints meanwhile will welcome Pontypridd Town – who have recently seen Fern Burrage-Male return as manager – to Park Hall.
