A former Salford City goalkeeper has joined a newly promoted Cymru Premier side as Caernarfon Town adds a Wales C star to their squad.

Llandudno have announced their second signing of the summer with the addition of a former Salford City goalkeeper. Joel Torrance becomes the second arrival at the Go Goodwins stadium as the 24-year-old makes the move from Bala Town.

Ex-Salford City Keeper joins Llandudno following an impressive individual campaign

Torrance makes the switch from recently relegated Bala, having been one of the top-performing shot stoppers in the Cymru Premier last season. The former ‘Ammies’ man kept 10 clean sheets in the top flight last season – the third best in the division.

Speaking about the signing of Torrance, Llandudno boss Jordan Hadaway spoke to the club’s website, saying, “I’ve known Joel for a few years now. He was offered to us on loan at Cefn Druids from Salford City six years ago, and from that day, I’ve followed his journey closely.

“He has been a stalwart for Bala over the past three seasons, and we’re delighted to bring him to the club.

“His attitude, personality and ability align perfectly with everything we want within our squad, and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Torrance is the second signing within two days that adds Cymru Premier experience to the Seasiders’ squad – Kieran Lloyd signed for Llandudno yesterday, having previously also featured for Bala Town in his career.

Wales C star revealed as newest Caernarfon signing

Caernarfon Town have eagerly continued their summer business with the addition of a fan favourite who previously starred as part of the Wales C squad in 2024.

The Cofis confirmed that Sion Bradley has returned to the club from reigning Cymru Premier champions The New Saints. Bradley spent last season on loan with Caernarfon and now returns to the club permanently.

Bradley first joined Caernarfon in the summer of 2018 before making the move to Park Hall in 2024, ending a six-year stint at the club. However, the 28-year-old rejoined the Cofis last season on a season-long loan, helping the side capture the Welsh Cup

Bradley scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for Wales C against England at Stebonheath Park back in March 2024.

The forward was revealed as the latest signing for Caernarfon in what has become a very busy window already at the Oval. Ben Nash was announced yesterday, having made the move from Connah’s Quay Nomads.

The Cofis are looking to bolster their squad in preparation for the UEFA Conference League qualifying rounds, which get underway in July – the draw for the first round will take place on June 16th.

Cambrian United adds top-flight experience ahead of debut campaign

Cambrian United are gearing up for their first-ever appearance in the Cymru Premier with the addition of an experienced attacker.

21-year-old Jake Morris joins Cambrian from fellow Cymru Premier side Cardiff Met. A show of intent from the newly promoted side, adding a young player with top-flight experience to their side.

Morris joined the Archers in the summer of 2024 from Risca United, going on to make 53 appearances and score six goals during his time at Met. Morris was named as one of nine players who would be departing the Cyncoed Campus Stadium this summer

That list of players included long-serving defender Matt Chubb, who departed the club having made 154 appearances for the Archers.
