The Cymru Leagues’ attendances that stood out, with crowd topping 2,600

Penybont attracted the biggest crowd across the three Cymru Leagues over the weekend, with more than 2,600 supporters watching their Cymru Premier meeting with Airbus UK Broughton.
There were also strong turnouts at Colwyn Bay, Aberystwyth Town and Bangor City as supporters turned out for matches across the Cymru Premier, Cymru North and Cymru South.
Here is a look at the reported attendances from September 25 and 26, broken down by league.
Cymru Premier attendances
Penybont recorded the weekend’s highest attendance in the top flight, with 2,666 people at the match against Airbus UK Broughton.
Colwyn Bay were next with 1,231 for the visit of Haverfordwest County, while Barry Town United’s home meeting with Connah’s Quay Nomads attracted 541.
Trefelin’s match against The New Saints drew 538, just three fewer than Barry, while Cardiff Met’s game against Caernarfon Town was watched by 356.
Holywell Town versus Briton Ferry Llansawel recorded 362, and Flint Town United’s meeting with Ammanford had an attendance of 331.
The attendance for Cambrian United v Llandudno was listed as TBC. The Cymru Premier was the Cymru Leagues division which featured the most matches in the top attended fixtures of the weekend.

Cymru North attendances
Bangor City led the way in the Cymru North, with 537 supporters attending their game against Buckley Town.
Newtown’s home match with Porthmadog was next with 303, while Brickfield Rangers v Denbigh Town attracted 224 and Bala Town v Mold Alexandra drew 215.
Llanuwchllyn v Caersws had an attendance of 134, with Ruthin Town v Penrhyncoch drawing 122.
Holyhead Hotspur’s match against Guilsfield was watched by 120, while Gresford Athletic v Rhyl recorded the division’s lowest reported attendance at 113.

Cymru South attendances
Aberystwyth Town had the biggest reported Cymru South crowd, with 563 supporters at their match against Pure Swansea.
Cardiff Draconians were next with 424 for their meeting with Caerau Ely. It was one of the derby matches in the Cymru Leagues this weekend, with the Young Guns bringing a strong travelling contingent.
Baglan Dragons v Carmarthen Town attracted 283, while Afan Lido’s game against Newport City had 201 supporters.
Four matches have been listed without confirmed attendance figures: Llantwit Major v Llanelli Town, Pontardawe Town v Treowen Stars, Ynyshir Albions v Trethomas Bluebirds and Caerphilly Athletic v Pontypridd United.

The biggest Cymru League crowds of the weekend
Looking across all three Cymru Leagues divisions, Penybont v Airbus UK Broughton stands comfortably clear at the top of the attendance list with 2,666.
Colwyn Bay’s 1,231 puts their game against Haverfordwest County second, while Aberystwyth Town’s 563 against Pure Swansea was the third-highest reported attendance.
Trefelin’s 538, Barry Town United’s 541 and Bangor City’s 537 were also among the strongest crowds reported.
