It was another superb season across the Adran North and the Adran South, and it culminated in Pontypridd United being promoted back to the Adran Premier.
While the Dragons will take all the plaudits, there were plenty of stars who shined across the second tier.
Here, we reveal our combined Adran North and South Team of the Season, as we celebrate the performances of some of the country’s most promising prospects.
ADRAN NORTH AND SOUTH TEAM OF THE SEASON
Goalkeeper – Georgia Tarullo (Swansea University)

What a season it has been for Tarullo. The American featured in all twelve of Swansea University’s league games, keeping six clean sheets in the process, including a famous victory over Pontypridd United at the USW Sports Park. Tarullo certainly has the talent to play at a higher level, but for now, she can celebrate a fine season with the Students.
Honourable Mention – Molly France (Connah’s Quay Nomads)
France didn’t end the season in the way her and the Nomads would have wanted to, but she’s still been a great asset for Jordan Parry’s team. With five clean sheets in nine games, she won the Adran North Golden Glove.
Centre-Back – Evie Chard (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

The Nomads only conceded six goals all season, the fewest across both tiers, and Chard has been a crucial to that record. Having made last season’s team of the season, Chard has gone from strength to strength and has become of the premier defenders in the second tier.
Honourable Mention – Erin Basinger (Bangor)
Bangor have become known for having a staunch defence, and Basinger has been at the heart of it. Her strong tackling and leadership helped Bangor to a historic victory against last year’s Adran North winners Llandudno earlier this season.
Centre-Back – Casey Thomas (Cascade)

A big reason as to why Cascade were competing for the Adran South title on the final day is thanks to their stout back line, which Thomas has been leading by example this season. This isn’t the first season where Thomas has been a key cog in the Cascade system, and if they are to challenge again next season, she will be crucial to their charge.
Honourable Mention – Mary Bailey (Llanfair United)
What a season it has been for the Mid-Wales club, with so many standing out, none more so than Bailey. Llanfair have improved dramatically defensively this campaign compared to the last one, and Bailey is one of those whose been at the heart of that.
Centre-Back – Natalia Shwartz (Cwmbran Celtic)

It’s certainly been an up and down season for those at Cwmbran Celtic, but one constant performer has been Shwartz. Especially in the early part of the season, Cwmbran’s defence was reliable and tough to break down, with Shwartz acting as a real brick wall.
Honourable Mention – Caitlin Seaborne (Pontypridd United)
Ponty have had to deal with so many attacking threats in the Adran South this year, but Seaborne has been a player who has relished every challenge that’s been put in front of her; something that will serve her well heading into the Adran Premier.
Young Wales stars ready and prepare to take on Europe’s best
Right Wing-Back – Taylia Chaloner (Flint Town United)

It’s been a solid first season for Flint in the Adran North, and one of their standout players has been Chaloner. The wing-back has shown that she is able to shut down one side of the pitch, and opponents know that they are in for a very difficult afternoon whenever they face off against her.
Honourable Mention – Kelsey Davies (Llandudno)
It’s been a season to forget for Llandudno, but once again, Davies was at the centre of a lot of good things for them. With 14 goals and six assists, she often dragged Dudno out of trouble, and she’ll be hoping to get them back towards the top of the table next season.
Left Wing-Back – Maisy Fahey-Pennell (Penybont)

Another debuting team who enjoyed a very prolific first season in the second tier were Penybont, and Fahey-Pennell has been a real standout for them. With seven assists to her name, Fahey-Pennell was the Adran South’s leading creator, and she, along with plenty of other young talents playing for Penybont, could make huge strides next season.
Honourable Mention – Jessica Goucher (Swansea University)
Goucher is another to have had a stunning season with Swansea University. A constant threat down the left, Goucher was always an outlet for the Students when needed and certainly became one of the side’s more consistent performers.
Centre-Midfield – Polly Wild-McGregor (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

21 goals in twelve games of course tells one story, but this season has been about more than just goals for Wild-McGregor. Appointed captain at the start of the season, the Adran North Golden Boot winner has flourished into a real leader for this Nomads side, who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Adran Premier.
Honourable Mention – Rosie Hughes (Flint Town United)
Hughes was so close to making this side, because she has been so instrumental to Flint’s success this season. With six goals and six assists, Hughes has proven that she can do everything in the heart of the midfield.
Centre-Midfield – Erin Parry (Cascade)

Parry has showcased this season why she is one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the Adran Leagues. Her boundless energy coupled with her excellent vision helped Cascade battle for the title. Her defensive abilities are just as good as her attacking ones, and it’s very difficult to think of this Cascade team without her.
Honourable Mention – Paris Schofield (Llanfair United)
Another Llanfair player who has come on leaps and bounds this season has been Schofield. With seven goals and five assists, Schofield has proven that she should certainly be considered as one of the all-round players in the Adran North.
Right Forward – Ella Jones (Llandudno & Connah’s Quay Nomads)

What a season it has been for Jones. Having scored five goals in three games for Llandudno at the start of the season, the striker made the move over to rivals Connah’s Quay, where she found the back of the net nine times. For a few seasons now, Jones has proven that she is one of the most lethal strikers in the second tier.
Honourable Mention – Mollie Jones (Penybont)
Another Penybont player who has had a stellar season has been Mollie Jones. Adran South defences are certainly tough to break down, but Jones managed to net six goals, and there a certainly signs that she can score even more next season.
Centre Forward – Harriet Davies (Llanfair United)

The jewel in Llanfair’s crown this season, without a doubt, has been Davies. In seasons past, the forward has shown signs that she could have a breakout season, and it has finally happened. 14 goals in twelve games puts her second behind Wild-McGregor in the goalscoring chart, and it’s going to be exciting to see what Davies and Co. can do next season.
Honourable Mention – Jade Crofts (Cwmbran Celtic)
Crofts only played seven games before she moved to Adran Premier side Briton Ferry, but what an impact she made. With eight goals she helped to propel Celtic to the top of the table, and the team certainly felt her absence in the second half of the season.
Left Forward – Nicole Fenton (Pontypridd United)

You really couldn’t build a team of the season without Fenton. With eleven goals and six assists, Fenton has been one of the most in form players across the Adran Leagues. In this young Pontypridd side, she’s perhaps been their brightest spark, and she will certainly be one to watch in the Adran Premier next year.
Honourable Mention – Lauren Boyd (Cwmbran Celtic)
A player who has stepped up for Cwmbran in the absence of Crofts has been Boyd. She matched the now Ferry striker’s tally of eight goals, and she will be key to any push Cwmbran make next season.
