EA FC 27 ratings: Huge changes for Cardiff City, Wrexham, Stoke City and Wolves men

The EA FC 27 player ratings have been released, and there are some big changes for Welsh players playing in the EFL Championship, with several familiar names receiving significant upgrades.
Several players have seen their ratings rise by four points or more, while others have remained at the same level as EA FC 26.
The biggest increase belongs to Dylan Lawlor, who has jumped 13 points, while Ronan Kpakio is also among the biggest winners after an 11-point rise.
There are also notable improvements for Jordan James, Sorba Thomas, Matt Turner and Harry Ashfield, while Connor Roberts is the only player in the group to receive a downgrade.
EA FC 27 Championship ratings for Welsh players
Sorba Thomas is the highest-rated Welsh player in the Championship group, with the winger moving up four points to 75.
Connor Roberts follows on 74, although his rating has dropped by one point.
Jordan James has enjoyed a four-point increase to 73, while Ben Cabango and Nathan Broadhead have both moved up one point to 72.
Kieffer Moore remains on 72, with Chris Mepham increasing by two points to 71.
Danny Ward, Regan Poole and Andrew Hughes are all rated 70, while Rubin Colwill has moved up one point to 69.
Dylan Lawlor makes huge EA FC 27 ratings jump
The biggest change among the Welsh players in the Championship is Dylan Lawlor. His rating has increased by 13 points, taking him to 68.
It is comfortably the largest improvement on the list and one of the most eye-catching rating changes among the Welsh players in the Championship.
Ronan Kpakio is not far behind. His rating has increased by 11 points, taking him to 66. His Bluebirds teammate Matt Turner has also received a substantial boost, moving up eight points to 62.
Wrexham’s Harry Ashfield has risen six points to 58, while Jordan James, Sorba Thomas, Joel Colwill and Ben Lloyd have all increased by four.
Jordan James and Sorba Thomas among the biggest risers
James’ move to 73 is one of the most significant changes among the higher-rated players.
The midfielder has gone up four points, putting him just two points behind Thomas at the top of the Welsh Championship ratings.
Thomas has also been rewarded with a four-point increase, moving from 71 to 75. Joel Colwill has gone from 62 to 66, while Ben Lloyd has climbed from 57 to 61.
Elsewhere, Cian Ashford, Evan Watts and Elliot Myles have all risen by three points.
Welsh players whose EA FC 27 ratings have stayed the same
Not everyone has seen their rating change.
Danny Ward remains on 70, while Adam Davies and Rhys Norrington-Davies both stay on 68.
Josh Sheehan remains at 68, Isaak Davies stays on 67 and Kieffer Moore retains his 72.
Andrew Hughes is unchanged at 70, while David Cornell remains on 64 and Eli King on 63.
Lewis Thomas and Tanatsa Nyakuhwa have also kept their previous ratings.
Connor Roberts suffers one of the few Welsh downgrades
There is one particularly notable movement in the opposite direction. Connor Roberts has dropped one point from 75 to 74.
It is only a small change, but it means the Wales full-back is no longer level with the rating he held previously.
The downgrade stands out because the majority of the significant movements among the Welsh players are upwards.
EA FC 27 gives young Welsh players their first cards
There are also several players who have received their first EA FC card.
Ollie Bostock is rated 60, while Thomas Woodward is 57. Cruz Allen and Alex Williams both receive 56-rated cards, with Noah Williams on 55 and Rob Tankiewicz on 54.
Those first cards could prove particularly interesting for Career Mode players looking for young Welsh talent to develop.
