Welsh League Division One outfit Monmouth Town have announced the signing of former Wrexham trainee Bradley Flay.
Once describing himself as a “clever, two-footed, and balanced creative player,” Flay could prove an exciting addition for the Kingfishers, who remain nervously looking over their shoulder after a 3-1 defeat to Barry Town United last Saturday.
Town are just five points clear of the foot of the table, and travel to Undy Athletic on Saturday with a slender two-point lead over their opponents.
But the arrival of Flay is likely to come as a boost to Ross Kennedy’s men, who have only registered one league win on the road this season.

Flay, who has a Welsh Schools cap and Welsh Universities cap to his name, joins the club after a trial at Scottish side Ross County.
After spending three years at Cardiff, Flay left aged 16 to join Newport County, before being released a year later.
The teenager bounced back by earning himself a place at the prestigious Nike Academy at the age of 17, which eventually resulted in him signing a professional contract at Wrexham.

A spell at Buckley Town followed, but he was released due to university commitments.
The Kingfishers have now moved for the attacking midfielder, who can play on the wing or through the middle and could be ready to slot into the starting line-up this weekend.
