National League side AFC Fylde have completed the signing of former Swansea City midfielder and Welsh Premier League Young Player of the Year Henry Jones from Bangor City.
The 23 year-old joins the club initally on a one-year deal but has the option of extending that to a further year.
After being released by Swansea City last summer, Andy Legg snapped up the Welshman who became a key figure for the Citizens, racking up 14 goals and 10 assists in his debut campaign in the top flight of Welsh football, helping the club qualify for the Europa League via the Welsh Premier League European play-offs.
Bangor finished fourth this season, with Jones named Young Player of the Year in the end of season league awards, and was named in the team of the season.
The club announced the move on their social media platforms this afternoon, describing him as a highly-rated Welsh midfielder.

However, despite a thoroughly impressive maiden campaign in Wales, the former Wales Under-21 international has departed Nantporth and has joined up with AFC Fylde in the English pyramid.
Fylde were crowned champions of the Vanarama National League North last season, and have looked to the highly rated youngster as they bolster their squad in preparation for the step up to the National League this coming season.
The club and its new manager Kevin Nicholson have not held back in stepping up transfer proceedings to minimise the impact of the loss of Jones.
The North Wales outfit have already signed Brayden Shaw, who will add some bite to Bangor’s attack. The player impressed whilst on loan at the club for the first half of last season and has now joined the club permanently.
However, the loss of Jones will be key and the club will be hoping their new summer recruits can step up, as they look first to qualify from their First Round Qualifier in the Europa League and then to repeat last season’s success.
