Prestatyn Town have announced the double signing of former Stoke City academy product Liam Smith and Wrexham youngster Liam Walsh.
18 year-old Smith had previously joined Holywell Town earlier in the summer, however has made the switch to Prestatyn after making clear his desire to play for his hometown club.
Assistant manager Martin Jones said
“When we heard Liam wanted to join us we were delighted. We look forward to Liam playing a major part in our season and we wish him well.”
Walsh, on the other hand, has joined on a loan deal from Conference side Wrexham. The player had previously spent time on loan at the club in 2014, and thus knows his new surroundings well.
Jones said;
“Liam is a top quality player who can play in a number of positions. He will add further depth to our squad and having been here on loan in 2014, Liam knows the club and how we operate.”
