Port Talbot Town have added three new players to the first team, as the club look to add some firepower to their squad heading into the festive fixtures.
Mark Pike has secured the services of Niall O’Donnell, John Hall and Conor Harris for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
O’Donnell has already featured for the club, having made his debut in the thrilling 2-2 draw between Ammanford and Port Talbot at the weekend, coming on as a substitute in the fixture.
However, O’Donnell is now joined at the Blues by Hall and Harris who join the club from local neighbours Trefelin BG, who ply their trade in Welsh League Division Three.
Pike told the Port Talbot website that he was delighted with the trio of signings.
“We welcome Niall, John and Conor in to Port Talbot Town Football Club with open arms and are hopeful they will all contribute to the ongoing development of this current squad.
Each player brings different qualities to the table and adds a lot of Welsh league experience in to this inexperienced group. The philosophy at this club going forward will be sustainability. They’re all aware of what’s in front of them now and look forward to meeting up at training Thursday.”
The side who play at Victoria Road have won just once in nine games, and with the new signings, Pike will be hoping they can kick on and help the side to secure some crucial victories in the coming weeks.
