Bala Town FC have today bolstered their goalkeeping options with the signing of 21 year old goalkeeper Keighan Jones.
The stopper joins the club from Huws Gray Alliance side Conwy Borough, who are currently 10th in the second tier.
Jones started his career at Airbus’ academy, going onto represent the Wales U18s’ squad.
He also impressed during a spell at Caernarfon, where he was regularly inbetween the sticks during the 2016/17 season.
The young keeper has also spent time at Llandudno Junction and Denbigh Town, and now joins sixth-place Bala as they hunt their sixth consecutive qualification for Europe in phase two.
He will wear the number 30 shirt, and contest Bala number one Ashley Morris for a starting place in the side.
Colin Caton’s men face a tough test to once again clinch Europa League football come the end of the campaign after a stop-start phase one.
They have so far won 10, drawn four, and lost eight, enduring back to back losses in their past two games against Cardiff Met and Caernarfon.
