Bala Town sign New Saints forward Chris Seargeant

Bala Town have signed Christian Seargeant on loan from fellow Welsh Premier League side The New Saints.

The Lakesiders met the deadline of last Thursday to secure their final loan of the season.

Attacker Chris Seargeant will be with the Lakesiders for their final four Welsh Premier League games, as well as the Europa League play-offs.

He will be unable to make his debut for Bala this Wednesday as his parent club takes on his current club at Maes Tegid in a rearranged fixture.

The 32-year-old has only played seven games in the League this season, scoring two goals. He has been at The New Saints for over the decade after previously spending time with Bangor City and Connah’s Quay.

He has over 200 appearances for the Oswestry based side, having played in the Champions League, JD Welsh Premier League, Europa League and the Welsh Cup. He has won the top flight of Welsh football eight times and is a four-time Welsh Cup winner.

Bala Town take on The New Saints on Wednesday evening, before hosting Barry Town United on Saturday.
