Cyncoed Ladies have appointed Josh Richards as their new first team head coach.
He replaces Fern Burrage who is stepping down due to family commitments. She will remain at the club in the role as Director of Football.
Richards joined the club in November 2019 and was assistant coach to Burrage.
A statement on Richards appointment read: “He is well armed to transition in to the Head Coach role and further develop his coaching and management.
“With past experience from U8s up to senior men’s football, he is well equipped to manage our First Team and was seen as a natural successor for Fern during her secondment.”
The club have also announced the introduction of an U19s side. This will be coached by Dave brown who joins from sister club Sully Pinks.
Fern is not the only departure from The Mighty Oaks. Head Physio Rhiannon Hayes has also left due to work commitments.
