Teams in the Cymru South today discovered which divisions they will be competing in next season, as the Football Association of Wales opted to implement promotion and relegation throughout the Cymru Leagues.
Haverfordwest County will compete in the Cymru Premier next season after Swansea University, who led the league standings when the season was curtailed, fail to obtain the Tier 1 Licence required to compete in the top-flight.
Wayne Jones’ side return to the top echelon of Welsh domestic football after a four-year hiatus.
As the Bluebirds go up, they will be replaced in the second tier by Carmarthen Town, who bow out after 24 consecutive seasons in the league.
Joining the Old Gold in the Cymru South will be Trefelin BGC, Risca United and Port Talbot Town, who have been confirmed as the three sides to be promoted from the Welsh Football League Division One.
The teams to drop out of the league are STM Sports, who failed to obtain the Tier 2 Licence, along with Cwmamman United and Caerau Ely.
