Aberystwyth Town have signed midfielder Jamie Veale from Merthyr Town.
Veale moves to Park Avenue after spending season at Merthyr Town following his departure at Cardiff City.
The 23-year-old had been at Penydarren Park since January 2019 after leaving Cardiff City, a club he had been at for more than 15 years.
He becomes the sixth signing of the summer for Gavin Allen as the new Aber boss looks to put his stamp down on the squad.
“I am delighted to join the Club,” said Veale to ATFC.org.uk.
“After a great chat with the Manager his ambition was clear, which was a key factor in me joining the Club.
“I look forward to meeting all the boys and getting pre-season going, and hopefully achieving great things this coming season.”
Veale is the second signing in as many days after Jack Rimmer was announced yesterday.
Rimmer returned to Park Avenue after a spell at JD Cymru North outfit Penrhyncoch.
The pair join Harri Rowe, Owain Jones, Rhys Davies and Sam Barnes who have all made the move to the Mid Wales side this summer.
