The New Saints have announced the addition of Southport defender Ryan Astles.
Astles becomes Scott Ruscoe’s third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Leo Smith and Louis Robles.
The 26-year-old is returning to the Cymru Premier after previously playing for Buckley Town an Rhyl.
In the last few years of his career, he has been playing for Chester, Nortwich Victoria and Southport.

Commenting on his latest signing, manager Scott Ruscoe said: “Ryan is a player that I’ve been aware of for a few years now. He’s consistently played well at a very good level.”
“We have been looking to add to our squad defensively and I think he will be an excellent addition for us.
“He’s composed on the ball and will fit in to our way of playing perfectly.”
