Colwyn Bay to loan Bala Town’s Llyr Morris for remainder of season

Colwyn Bay have signed forward Llyr Morris on loan from Bala Town until the end of the season.

Morris, moves to the Cymru North outfit with the hope of the 2020/21 campaign beginning, amid uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 25-year-old joined Bala Town from Ruthin in August, but has played just 36 minutes of competitive football, having been a substitute.

He joined Ruthin at the age of 11 and has worked his way towards the first team before becoming their top goalscorer in recent years.

Manager Craig Hogg said on his latest addition: “Llyr is a very good player and to add his qualities to what we feel is a very competitive group, is a big positive indeed.

“I thank Colin Caton and all at Bala for allowing the loan move to take place. We look forward to welcoming Llyr to the football club and seeing him in action for us when our season does finally get under way.”
