Bangor City have made the double signing of Daniel Mullarkey and Lewis Brass.

Hugo Colace has added to his backline by adding a new goalkeeper and a central defender as they mount a charge in the Cymru South.

Brass has already made three appearances for Bangor, winning two of them and keeping a clean sheet against Llangefni Town.

The shot-stopper was on trial at Scottish Championship club Greenock Morton earlier this summer.

The Citizens are the 25-year-old’s third Welsh club, having played for Connah’s Quay and Caernarfon Town.

Brass was brought in by Bangor’s Gwynedd rivals after a goalkeeping shortage due to an injury to Josh Tibbetts.

He made six outings in total for the Canaries, one of which was their 3-2 defeat to Newtown in the European play-off final.

Prior to his move to The Oval, Brass won the Cymru Premier and Nathaniel MG Cup at Connah’s Quay.

In the 2019/20 season, he kept 20 clean sheets in all competitions and conceded just 28 goals.

Another new signing for Hugo Colace’s men is Saint Lucian international Daniel Mullarkey.

A youth academy product of Birmingham City, Mullarkey has spent the majority of his career in the English non-league scene, though he did have a spell in both Cyprus with AEL Limassol and in Bulgaria with Strumska Slava.

The 29-year-old has seven caps for Saint Lucia, after being called up in 2015 whilst with Kettering Town.

His last few sides have included Wolverhampton Sporting, Ilkeston Town, Bromsgrove Sporting and Redditch United.

Mullarkey like Brass has already turned out a few times for Bangor. He has made four appearances, scoring twice.
